I feel that this song has so many meanings that there isn't a definate meaning behind it ultimatly I feel that Bon Jovi is meaning for us to look at others as we would ourselfs, as the song states in its opening line. "maybe we're all different, but we're still the same." If everyone would treat others as people instead of rich, poor, black ,white, brown I think the world would be a wonderful place |

Poison is one of those bands that put meanings in thier songs and probably one of the best damn bands I've heard and I wish more people would actually get passed the whole big hair, glam look, "devil music" as my uncle calls it and listen to the meanings behind the songs with that being said Fallen angel is about a girl who moves to hollywood searching for her big break, "trading her memories for fortune and fame" Sadly she also lost touch with her friends and family and if you notice in the end of the video the cycle starts again as another "small town girl" is getting off the bus |

This is one of the best antiwar songs I have heard in a long time. War is never black and white like Bush and his alliance of doom would like us to believe. The song to me is about a soldier trying to isolate is personal feelings about the violence and the poverty-stricken areas he see's so he can look at thye war through the simpliest of terms, in black and white so it would be easier to leave |
