This, to me, is the scene of a female vampire slowly and gently luring her lover man into her love and trap. This could be one of the stories that the man in this album read and dreamed so much about it when he was a child. He is now lying on his deadbed and recalling so many things in his life, especially his childhood.
I totally love this album and Anette's expression in most songs except for her being weak in Storytime. Still, I wonder how it would be if it were Tarja here... Not as young and sweet as it is now, instead it must be magically, mysteriously beautiful. Just my very own feeling though ... |

This song relates to the situation I'm in. Somehow I think I need him; however most of the time I just want to keep the pure friendship go on. Right now I'm in a quest to look for a good man, but at weekend I'm still with him, sitting and chatting all days...

Wow! What a beautiful song! Although I must confess that I understand nothing about it, Tarja voice is surely so nice, both sweet and deep and touching. (Maybe the singers in the bands Evanescence and Lacuna Coil ought to train much more to keep pace with her).
Also, the melody indeed leads me into the night. And I wonder what was really in Toumas' mind when he wrote "The age will say this poet lies" and "Blessed with the deep the silent the complete" ?And I don't like to think that he refered it to death. It must be about something esle, like a lost soul or a deep dream or so...Is there anyone who could come to a different conclusion? |

The song is so great! The first time I listened to it was a night with heavy rain. I heard the sound of the raindrops and the wind right outside the window... and suddenly it remided me of a classic poem I'd learned in my secondary and high school:
Tiếng khoan như gió thoảng vời
Tiếng mau sầm sập như trời đổ mưa...
( The slow rhythm is like the breeze far away
The fast one is like the heavy rain with thunderstorm)
It's strange that a rock song of a band in the West can remind me of a poem in my own country... Lake of Tears and their music is wonderful. |
