| Jordin Sparks – One Step At A Time Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I heard this song while searching more Jordin Sparks songs. To me, this song relates a lot to my own personal experiences of not meeting the right guy yet. Or even getting close to it. I relate to this song, and she sings so beautifully. |

| Carrie Underwood – Get Out Of This Town Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think anyone can relate to this song who has been so in love, or just wants to gain independence. I believe she's in love and wants to run away with the guy she loves. I've felt this way many times, but I know it's not possible yet in my life. I have so much to do first. But it's fun to dream! And that's exactly why I love this song. It's all about the danger of running away and leaving a place you don't want to be. | |
| Carrie Underwood – Crazy Dreams Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Definitely a good song! I felt so moved after it, because many people have told me that my career is "wrong" in high school and not the "norm." And yeah, it just inspires me to do better and get there, so I can prove them all wrong! ^^; | |
| Carrie Underwood – All-American Girl Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so cute, I can relate because I really want a little girl someday but my boyfriend wants a boy. But he told me it'd be fine no matter what it is, but it's just funny because it's a typical story that many dad's face. I'm just wondering if the "coach" is the father of the son who the girl falls in love or not. Or just someone close to his family. And I wonder if they were getting close to having sex, because I hope that "beautiful, wonderful, perfect all-American girl" was innocent too. Lol. =P | |
| Carrie Underwood – Just A Dream Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I just heard this song today, and fully listened to the lyrics and I was in awe. I'e never heard such an inspiring peace ever, that caused me to cry. It was really inspirational, and I believe it hits home for everyone. It doesn't have to be war-time, but a simple car accident to trigger emotions. But dealing with the life we have now, it makes you think of how precious life is. I have no one I know in the war in Iraq, but I guess the reason I teared up was to imagine myself in that position; I couldn't handle it, either. It would be too painful. I really like this song, and I hope she chooses it for a single. It would really be evoking to her audiences. ^^; |

| Matchbox Twenty – Bent Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Personally, I can relate to this song. It's really deep and I love listening to it -- it's just a perfect love song. The song is talking about a guy who has problems, but when he's around his girlfriend everything seems to fall away and just disappear; she brings him to life and causes him to live to the fullest, and without her, he is nothing -- just an empty shell. When he doesn't smile, she makes him smile, and he wants her to give him so much love that he can't take it anymore -- to me, that describes that these two are in love so much, that it's unbelievably perfect. She puts him back together when he crumbles, and he comes to her for his love. If anyone's looking for a good song to have for a relationship, this song is it. I've always loved Matchbox, and growing up with them makes me think of my childhood when I hear their songs. =) |

| Amy Winehouse – Rehab Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I love this song. It's comical and serious at the same time. It's clear in the song that Amy has a problem, and she's running away from it. I think it's interesting how this song relates to her own life, since she was doing drugs and passed out. | |
| Evanescence – Snow White Queen Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's definitely a stalker. I can so relate to this, since in high school I had a dude who was so immature and used to be everywhere I went! It was horrible. And I think this song can relate to Amy's own personal experience when she sued her former manager. So I think while she wrote this, she felt like she had nowhere to run -- he controlled her. I don't know where the Snow White part comes in, but maybe it has nothing to do with the fairy-tale. Maybe it's because of the pale complexion of the girl, and how she resembles a snowy white appearance. I think the most shattering part of the song is the "You belong to me" part. It's so deep, and you feel like you are inside the mind of who is being stalked -- it's creepy. This song is definitely an Evanescence classic. |

| Plain White T's – Hey There Delilah Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is so adorable, and even though it's overplayed, I still find myself smiling when I hear it. I think everyone has felt this way before, and I always think about the age part, as well. The girl is named Delilah, and she fell in love with a guy two years older than her -- but age didn't matter to them, since they loved each other. She seems like she's sixteen, and he's eighteen...maybe nineteen, and he's going to college and promising her that he'll come back for her when she's done with high school. It's so adorable how he loves her, and he said that the distance isn't much because he'd literally walk to see her. To me, that reminds me of my own relationship with my boyfriend who is three years older than me, and we still love each other. It's hard to believe at first I didn't like this song; then it just grew on me. =) |

| The Last Goodnight – Pictures of You Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
For some reason when I listen to this song, I get the vibe of Nickelback's "Photograph," only deeper. Like this is your life and what's become of it, and all of these moments you have are on camera for everyone to see -- and most of the moments that you capture are not happy ones. The soldiers part, where the mother is waiting for her son, is about the war. No matter how we try to escape the war, we are still in it. And we look back on older photos and think about how much we've changed, and how some things we would like to be the same again. Memories are powerful, and many of the memories that we have are painful to remember... I love this song, personally. |

| James Blunt – 1973 Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song makes me feel mixed feelings when I listen to it. I really listened to the lyrics once and I deducted it may be that James is telling the story of a time in his life that made him happy, maybe part of his teenage years or early twenties and he fell so deeply in love with a girl, maybe first love, and he can't forget her. He's reflecting on his life by saying, "I would call you up," and remembering his past. Maybe he still loves this girl, maybe not. He wonders what she is doing now, and thinks about the times they shared. I looked up the song "Here we go again," thinking it would be a song in that era, but I found nothing but Ray Charles. Maybe "Here we go again," is just what they said when they were driving and laughing. I have no clue what relevance this has to do with 1973... Anyways, I like this song. It's a good song to chill out to. Makes you think about the past. |
