Pretty straight forward. He threw himself into something extremely negative "killing himself" while pushing her/him/it away. But Her/him/it dying turned him to stone and made him feel apathetic towards life. Now finally with this song he releases his stress that everything must die, in due time. So he's finally ascended from the fear, discouragement, and sadness that is usually associated with death. So he's feeling better finally. Know what I mean, Jellybean? |
