this song adds the 'helena' kinda loving the dead touch, just to make it more wednesday 13-ish. the song it's self is about a guy who doesnt see anything in him. he sees himself as a bad guy, a waste. and this girl loves him. she tried to tell him he is good, and worth it. but he cant see that. she he has to push her away, for her own good, he thinks. he doesnt kill her. but he hurts her. saying 'i must forget you' isnt sating he doesnt care, its saying that he NEEDS to forget her, or he'll fall apart. cus he loves her too. he just doesnt love himself, so he cant think of how to show her the correct love.

it is about courtney and himself. but that isnt even why this song took forever to come out. you all know the battles and the legal bullshit that came up between that money hungry whore, and that media baby dave g. this song has another hidden meaning. kurt wanted to break up nirvana. he was tired of the fame, the pressure, and the money. he saw the money kill everyone around him (other than krist, but krist was getting darker and darker in other ways), and he was tired of it all. that being said, this song pulls at a part of my heart. i feel everyword he says, and i taste the pain that he feels. it makes me tear up. it isnt 'smells like teen spirit 2', it is the last words of a hurt man.

the lead guitar parts on this are nothign short of perfect. the chor is possibly the best that dez has ever laid down. but the meaning of this song is kinda obvious, it is just 'dont start shit if you arent ready to take it'. sort of like, 'fight if you are going to, but if you are just going to talk, then leave, and never come back'.

yeah this song is saying, quite bluntly, 'not everyone who tries things and moves from idea to idea is a failure.' like many of DD's songs the song is saying live life for now, cus at the end of the day and the end of your life, all the shit you planned and all the shit you thought will come to nothing, only what you did, who remembers you, and how you lived will stand as your mark.

it is the last song dez would ever write about his old band CC. when they broke up/fell apart, there was a lot of bad blood, and the other 394 if you include the extra bassist) were jerks to dez, and really pushed crap around they shouldnt have. so dez was pissed as hell, but he decided to be the bigger man, and not lament on it for years. he did this and said he wouldnt touch it again.
