actually, if you REALLY look at the lyrics, its like, part of it is his day dream, then it goes into reality. it reminds me of something, as if their parents wouldnt want them together. its kind of romeo and juliettish to me. but i prefer to relate it to myself than think about people i dont know. :D |

I know its not the right meaning.. but to me, this reminds me of when i see my girlfriend. I almost never get to see her, you know? i love her so, so much. "we knew what time we had could be counted on our finger tips that almost made you cry you let me hold you tightly as we said all our goodbyes" parts of this song remind me of different parts of our relationship though. "keep breathing my angel" ahh, so gorgeous. like when me and her wernt together, we were just waiting, for a little bit, to let go of the other lovers we had. i love her. i do. she called me her ex girlfriends name today.. it made me cry. she doesnt know how much she means to me, i dont think she will ever even have an idea of it. im done pissing and moaning about myself, but thats what i think of the song like, you know? its great. i love mayday parade. |

I love this song, I love Mayday Parade. someone VERY dear to me said that this song reminds them of me, funny thing is, i was thinking the same thing. we are both in such a tough situation. she loves me, i love her. simple as that. but "person1" loves her, and "person2" loves me. we want to be together, but both of our "people" are suicidal, so we cant do anything about it, unless we want to risk life or death. Thing is, ive loved her, ive fucking waited for her, 7 months of my LIFE. so many times she had led me on, i can barely trust her, but iw ould give it all up just to be hers again, for like an hour, its stupid, its pathetic, its love. We both go down together, and stay there forever, just try to get up. - We are both "down together" and we have to stay with it. alright. this song is my all time favorite song. to me, the girl is telling this to the guy. shes in love with him, but hes a jerk and cant stop screwing her over. it starts with She said "don't, don't let it go to your head Boys like you are a dime a dozen Boys like you are a dime a dozen" She said "you're a touch overrated, you're a lush and I hate it, but these grass stains on my knees they won't mean a thing" meaning that there are so many bad qualitys about him but she keeps begging on her knees everytime he leaves for him to come back. "and all i need to know is that im something youll be missing" all she needs is having the reassurence that she wasnt just "another girl" and that she was actually worth something to him. "mabey i should hate you for this, never really did ever quite get that far" she feels the need to hate him but she cant. she just cant bring herself to the fact that there is no way she is ever going to not care about him. and then he keeps messing things upwith her so much that they never get far in the relationship.
