That's it. I've studied greek mythology, and their entire album is based on Greek Mythology. On frail Wings Of Vanity And Wax refers to Icarus. I completely agree with you...it might not be Hercules though. (I think it might be Orpheus) |

Most of this CD (if not all of it) is inspired from Greek Mythology. Paris was a character in the Illiad (The Trojan War), Ambrosia was the daughter of the famous King Midas... Now I'm guessing that this has something to do with greek mythology, seeing as they don't take the whole story but just small segments... If you look up the story of Hero and Leander, you will see that the song makes absolute sense with the story. Obviously I hope you all realized that the album's title itself reveals what the whole album is about (On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax refers to the flight of Icarus...once again look it up, it's long.)

In my opinion, this song is about a relationship that's only about lust, and the guy dumped the girl because it was only sex and he couldnt take it anymore...and she comitted suicide, hence the blood drips from your eyes, and the Last Good-bye |
