| Deathstars – Blitzkrieg Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I feel that this song is about mankind's need to cause destruction. If there's a problem between nation's, we kill each other. If someone's views or morals are different than yours, violence is your answer. "Hope fails, Death shines" - Trying to be peaceful or waiting for your problems to pass don't seem to work for most people, then need quick, violent action to solve their issues. "Demons feed, Angels hide" - People who really want peace aren't the ones fighting, it's those who are afraid or stupid and unsure of what to do that fight and destroy everything they can. And as a side theme, I think they hint at ideas of atheism, saying that God isn't here to help us or guide us. "Heaven's turn" (turn its back on the people), "prayers burn, burn black"(prayers are unheard) | |

This is my take on this song: Kyo (or the speaker, whoever's supposed to be talking in the song) as a kid is tempted by a geisha and falls for her. ("devil come this way, towards the clapping hands") He visits her repeatedly while he's still young and falls in love with her. Then when he's older, he revisits her and sleeps with her again, but while sleeping with her, remembers how she tricked him into going with her, and it reminds him of his dead mother, as if that has to do with how he was conceived, like his mom was once a geisha. He loses his mind while thinking of this and sees himself sleeping with his mother instead of this beautiful emotionless geisha he once knew, and out of fear, he strangles her to death. Then towards the end, it seems as though not only did he kill the geisha, but perhaps there was a child involved as well - perhaps they had a kid together once and he abandoned them, which in turn may be what reminded him of his mother maybe abandoning him as a kid, and then he kills the kid as well so the kid doesn't grow up to be like him, without a mother. Something along those lines. There's a meaning in that story, but I'm not sure exactly what - someone else can read into that, I'm just rewording what Kyo is saying. |

| Dir En Grey – Filth (English) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think enarchay is right mostly on this one - What I think it is is a guy with some sick habits trying to forget them and leave them behind while trying to find a newer, simpler, and more normal life-style to fit in better with everyone else. He wasn't necessarily an actual masochist but rather suicidal when he realized that no one would want to be with him because of his habits. The "sadistic, sadistic, sadistic" repeats are words in his head, as if a voice is teasing him calling him a sadist and trying to get him to go back to how he used to be, but he's trying his best to forget it and move on past that. Throughout the song, the voice repeats ends up tricking him into going back to his old habits in which he devours (not literally) his date and makes her leave him when she realizes what type of person he is, leaving him alone, scared, and depressed like he used to be. | |

| Easily one of their best songs musically - Kyo's scream two and a half minutes through it is utterly ferocious, probably the best and most emotional scream I've ever heard in a song | |

| As far as the hill goes, I think it's just a generic romance thing. There are tons of stories with couples meeting together on hills or in the middle of a field filled with flowers surrounded by forests and such. Kyo's just using that to make the story more romantic and sad | |

Not only is this song a song against his old fans that turned their backs on diru as their music started changing (with every cd), but it's also insulting other musicians in my opinion, musicians who sell out to do whatever they need to do to be popular - kinda like what happened when they came to america - They got booed offstage and people didn't like their style, so now he's screaming cause he's pissed in his music, whereas most metal bands nowadays that we americans like scream just to scream, to go along with the music, but without emotion: "Fuck 'em all without a care Fake rock wannabes...just die" |

| Now that I think about it, it could be "fuckin' tricky men" but it sounds as though he's pronouncing it like "fuckin' trike mown" if that makes sense lol | |

| Dir En Grey – Rotting Root Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I hear either "fuck it's on now" or "fucked inside now", something along those lines - No way it's tricky men, even though that's what it says in the lyric book that came with the cd =\ | |
