I think..that the narrator isn't her boyfriend. This good girl has a boyfriend, who she loves, but she falls for the narrator. He loves her to, but he doesn't want her to leave her boyfriend or even cheating on him and become "a bad girl", so he walks out. And everyone who knows about this, thinks that he is a bad boy for breaking her heart and thinks he doesn't miss her, but he is free falling and he miss her alot but cares about her too much to be with her. He loves her so and could do anything for her, but knows that he only can let her be and he has to leave to not do something he doesn't want to do. |

but does anyone else think that"Yeah, only love can break her fall" is refering to or something (can't think of the english word) to "only love can break your heart" by Neil Young? |

For me, it's about many things. One of them, is selling out. He's missing his own songs, where he sings about things from the heart and own experiences. Now it's just commercial songs "searching for a note, pure and easy", a song with easy notes, simple ones that people will enjoy. "Playing so free, like a breath rippling by", he's playing for himself and feels free. He misses that, now his love for music has somehow decreased.
Ah, I don't think every single word can fit in to that, and probably it wasn't the meaning it was "meant" to have. So yep. |

I love this song. For me it's about this girl and guy hangig out, and he tries to play it cool and she thinks he dumps her, but he likes her a lot, "enough" to play it cool to win her over, and she disses him because of that, it's much about wanting all the games to stop. |
