This is my Favourite fall out boy song, It rocks, They always close the show with it too.. I think its about,, How when they were at high school, they were trying to fit in, but no-one really excepted them, they never got to go 'hang out' or to parties or anything.. but they wanted to 'im good to go' Maybe. This song is NOT about fight club! Its about ryans dad, he was an alcoholic. So i suppose where it says 'cant take the kid from the fight , take the fight from the kid' Is about ryan being abused by his dad, and he was the kid who couldnt get out of the fight, and he wanted the fight to be taken away, but it wasnt. This was no accident This was a therapeutic chain of events ^^ that bit, i think, was about how his dad was trying to get better (theraputic=healing) but the drink got the better of him. "youre a regular decorated emergency" well i have no idea what decorated means (in this line) but i think that it means hes regulary in the hospital as an emergency because he drinks and passes out. |

This Song Is Good, Its One Of The Main Reasons I Like Her.. I Agree, its about her having a bad break up and then she still loves him so hes in her head, but she doesnt want him to be. I Think The meaning behing this song is,, A teenage boy and girl are in a parking lot and end up sleeping together, (a teenage vow in a parking lot) but they dont know each other (youre just someone who knows someone, who knows someone i once knew) They think they will never see each other again, but the girl gets pregnant ,, the line says "sometimes we take chances, sometimes we take pills" , Thats like they didnt use a condom and she wasnt on 'the pill' so she took a chance , and it went wrong. Then the boy is deciding wether to stay with her or go (one foot in your bedroom and one foot in your door) Thats just my opinion though Lol... The Song Is Awesome. |
