sounds like its spoken from the voice of the devil and he is telling us to trust him to come down to hell. "there's no need to fear, everyone's here, waiting for you to be one of us." and he is trying to fight it..."never want to come down." |

I think this is actually quite a melancholy song. He keeps on emphasizing how, THEY have all the right friends in the right places and how he is going DOWN. The opposite of trying to go up and prosper. Also, he continues to ask, "Do you think I'm special, do you think I'm nice. Am I bright enough to shine in your spaces." Being special and unique is what everyone tries to be. He sounds like a typically lost HS/College kid in a world where popular kids rule. Also he asks, "Are we just sinking in the ocean of faces?" Same for HS kids as it is for many working a 9-5 in the city. Are you unique are just the same as every other strap-hanger on that subway ride. His self-lamenting has gotten so far to say that there is little help.... "The sun is shining everyday but its far away." He could also be talking of the popular kids or even a major singer/role-model with, "It don't matter what you see I know I could never be Someone that'll look like you It don't matter what you say I know I could never face Someone that can sound like you." He is admitting that he can never be as good as the others around him. |

| And not to mention he closes the song, and the album by saying "I will protect you" | |

This song seems to be directed more to his kids and how close he was to dying. He keeps saying "Please be aware that I am you!" He starts the song off asking what their gonna do if hes gone? He answers by saying that he loves them and that they are him. |

It seems like this is another song directed to Head. It comes right after "ever be" on the album and seems to be talking directly to Head. I believe Head wrote some book that said a lot of shit about the band members, so this was Korn's way of saying "don't you think you should move on" with the money he has made from being in the band, and shuttup and be happy. |
