I love it. The music is great, the song itself, AWSOME! The music video was depressing....very depressing. I love the creativity they put into it, playing backwards. But from "back to front" its about him and his girlfriend driving and all of a sudden they run off a cliff and she is thrown out of the car (obviously kiliing her) he after being uncousious goes to get help but collapses on a mattress from exhaustion shock,and a broken heart...Is that what I am to understand about the video? |

I also don't think it's anti- American either. He is just pointing out the fact that even his own people don't care. Even to the point of persecution... but he makes a couragous statement when he says the chorus. That fires me up to go on everytime I hear it. What can they do? Humiliate?! Slander?! Kill...that does not change the fact that I'm a child of the most high king God Almighty!? : D. Don't get me wrong it's so hard to take it into perspective, but when I truly think about it I rejoice when I'm called to suffer for His sake. |

I really love this song. I just heard this song recently and can play it by ear on my piano. Everyone at one point in time falls away from God or the ones they love but the bueaty of it is that feeling of repentance and forgiveness by others. Kind of like the prodigal son... |
