I love this song a lot. What I hear at the end: "As you lay there crying" I like that more than any other interpretation I've heard. :P |

If you listen, you can hear her actually saying something. But this song....what the hell....I love it. |

| I really think that this song, lyrically, is like a sequel to Venus As A Boy. It describes the magic of finding a boy so sensitive and disarming, and basically how it reflects upon her sexually. | |

Wow; I feel really dumb about my that comment. I realized that by the second part of that comment, I was on to G.P.T. :P But yeah, still a great opener. |

I think that it's a great opener. Also, this lyric is my favorite part: There were six drunk men Six drunk men See how they fail See how they fail |

It's a great song, and I great open for The Reminder. Also, I'm pretty sure it's "the answer isn't for our eyes," as opposed to "us." |

| Actually, I think it is one of their bests. While I don't agree with some of the stuff that is being said, it certainly is very powerful. | |

It's definitely, "We won't be what you want to be." I wish I could find all the lyrics somewhere, cause there's a lot more going on in this song. |

| Joe Satriani – I Believe Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Personally, I dont think the lyrics to this song are that great, but the melody and the tone certainly makes up for it. Despite the lyrics being a little cliche, this is one of Satriani's best songs, in my opinion. And Im sure everyone can tell what it's about, as some have already stated it here. People like tommy, cheesemaestro, and Zs and Ys got it right. |

Batfink, that's probably the dumbest thing Ive ever heard. You're picking out the only tiny lyrics in the song that could have a slight chance about referring to the war in Iraq. IMO, it's pretty easy to see that it's about the modern teenager culture. |
