He get's all the girls and he doesn't care what they look like, what size, what race, just their personality. But also from another point of view it could just be he's a totaly player that loves to shag around and if thats the case, GET IN!! |

I think it maybe about his girl friend who he loved so much but they had a their fair share of domestic issues an she upset him a lot by things she may have one and said. "We can piece it back together, I can learn to trust you too." This suggests that she cheated perhaps or mucks him around by leaving him then going back to him when she needs something but she trusts that he'll take her back. "You're just too good to lose, And I can't refuse." He's just so in love with her if he loses her he'll have nothing. "Don't you know who you are, You're my shooting star." He's telling her that she's his one in a million, the one he wants for the rest of his life maybe? The words he's used are really effective, how manny people see a shooting star in their life and if they do whats the likelyness of them seeing another one? The message he's putting across is you an do anything I'll forgive you just don't leave me because your the one. Love this song so much. |

This song is apparently based on a Greek myth... BASICALY this is what I think... there where a man who was madly in love with a woman but she didnt feel the same way. The man asks her father for his hand in marriage or and he agrees. She doesnt want to marry him so the moon takes her away to a far away island where she is finnaly free. It has a lot more meaning its a really sad story. |

"I want you, to be free, Don't worry, about me..." Really simple words used to create a lot of meaning for this song. I think its perhaps about a couple who know's theyre relationship is failing and one person takes the blame in particular hence the "I want you to be free.." as in I don't want you to be as un happy as I am. The "Don't worry about me.." could be selflesness on the other partners behalf or perhaps sarcasm. Who knows?! |

Maybe its the dark depressing side of me that thinks this but this song, in my mind, has always seemed to have some sort of subtle connection with abuse? "And I can’t stand the pain And I can’t make it go away No I can’t stand the pain How could this happen to me I made my mistakes I’ve got no where to run The night goes on As I’m fading away I’m sick of this life I just wanna scream How could this happen to me?" Maybe someone questioning what have they done in this life to be treated like they arent a real person. Someone who just wants to scream but can't because they are scared of what may happen. Im fading away - theyre trying to blank out whats happening to them so they dont focus on the pain thats being afflicted upon them, it'll soon be over. "Everybody’s screaming I try to make a sound but no one hears me" Everyone around them is un aware or un intrested, they desperatly want someone to notice whats going on but the people around them are too busy with their own problems. Just my own opinions, this song could mean anything! |

I love Kate Nash, going to see her in Sheperds Bush with a friend :) This song means so much to me, because its what I want in life. That kind of guy, I mean its every girls dream to have a guy that really loves them a lot and for them to feel the same back. I can imagine the couple in this song, two people that dont have much in life - just each other. Its beautiful. The simplicity of it just makes it all the more touching because every one can relate to it. |

At first I thought this song had something to do with the gorvernment watching over us as I didnt really listen to song just heard the words. "Aerials in the sky.." However, as I started to think deeper I thought isnt it about how society causes people to feel alien and to not include every one. I feel Aerials is about someone who maybe couldnt communicate like every one (perhaps due to a disability or mental state). S.O.A.D wanted to link this to how every one is the same yet with different opportunaties and that this life isnt fair. It also highlights (I feel) that people who have it good take every thing for granted and it isnt right because life is a gift. Probably totaly wrong but whatever. |

This is probably my favourtie song by the Floyd an amazing band this song means an awful lot to me. I feel they where trying to communicate the power of loss through their words "..running over the same old ground, and how we found, the same old fears, wish you were here." Also it seems to have a powerful link to how people are blinded by their own ignorance and stupidity they cant see something good in bad or vice versa due to their small minded views on life. Anyways thats my own opinion probably totaly wrong but yeah this song is my most played on iTunes and inspires me. |
