I always thought that it was a bit more of a romantic song, but that the friend hadn't got a clue that Fefe felt that way. But maybe that's just me. Personal experience, and all that. |

I think that if you reference them alongside "Le Disko" you actually get more of a meaning. In Le Disko, the line "you're a boy, and I'm a girl/I will never fall in love with you" seems to point out that she's lesbian, and as such will not fall in love with a boy. In that case, this is most likely a scenario with very unforgiving parents that found out about her homosexuality and sent her to an asylum where people would try to cure her. |
