| i am pretty sure this song is about cheating. dogs symbolize fidelity, which is where the name Fido derives from. And I think the line "i must have all your love" and "your leash is too long" are giveaways if the name of the dog isn't enough. | |

I am hearing something else in the line "Go out and find me when I'm dropped" I think "find" is actually "hide" and in that case, seems like "dropped" was something different, too but it definitely sounds like he is saying "dropped".... anyone? |
