Guess what: the old JFAC and the new JFAC suck EQUALLY. This is not real metal. Seriously, listen to some Slayer or Death, or Cryptopsy, Deicide, I don't care, but this is mediocre MySpace metal. It's just a fad, that's why they went from Deathgrind with breakdowns to "death metal." It's all about what's cool at the moment, with no real connection to actual heavy metal history. I bet these guys listened to Linkin Park up until 4 years ago. |

This is just a wonderful song, listen to how melodic the ending is compared to the rest, and then he hits you with "IF I WOULD COULD YOU?" Absolutely chilling. |

those lyrics are so direct and powerful to listen to. Especially "Little boy made a mistake," and "Saw my reflection and cried, so little hope that I died." You just have to love that Alice in Chains sound. |

Oh, and the "break your bones" can be explained to, and I should mention that in the story Waldo is really depressed and feels like an outsider etc. So Billy could have tied in references to the story, comparing the character to his bro. |

I have a theory about the mysterious "Mr. Jones" line: The science fiction story "Waldo" by Robert Heinlein. The story is about a man named Waldo Farthingwate Jones (Mr. Jones) who has a severe muscle disorder and is so weak that he lives in a space home flying around earth's orbit because he would be crushed to death by Earth's gravity. It makes sense, it matches up with the themes of the song, the Mr. Jones and "spinning round" lines can both be explained. I think that could be it. |

I don't think 23 mins is all that long. This is great to listen to on lengthy car rides, or anytime really. Just a beautiful song actually, the "I'm sick of all you hypocrites..." part is truly epic. And the solos are fantastic. I just love Dream Theater, and this is their undeniable opus (although Octavrium almost beats it). |

i think unborn in the womb is meant literally, just to refer to the many lives and future lives that would be destroyed. this song is cool, the riff is very un-maidenish, and the guitar tone is very different and cool. powerslave was a sick album. |

dude, this song is just meant to be ridiculous. i really don't hear religion in it at all. whatever, the bass riff is awesome, and the vocals in the second verse are hilarious. |

i'm sorry, blackened, but you're kind of a moron. you can believe whatever you want, but you're wasting your time antagonising nevermore fans. don't like atheism? think it's "a meaningless life?" fine. but shut up. you don't even make any valid points. dissapointing. |
