even though alot of ppl think this song is only about the girl at club zen,it's not,it IS inspired by that incident but it's actually about other stuff and people too, i back that up with the very first part of lyrics, he says he wants to apologize for things hes done and things that haven’t occurred yet. moving on to the next part: first person he wants to apologize for is his wife- the mother of his children- he apologizes for leaving her home alone most of the time,apologizes for not knowing (because she was hiding it)how much that hurt her, and for neglecting and disrespecting her and finally for not being there for their sons. in the next part he clearly apologizes for his mother for all the things his dad made her go through,apparently his dad left them and got himself a second wife so she had to sell bags to get money even though she would rather be home with him and his siblings.and then he apologizes for the shit he (akon) made her go through(being bad and not lsning,growing up 2 fast,theft,drugs,feds,jail). now the final part is about deena the infamous underage girl at club zen and allll that crap that you guys already know. |
