we're human and we don't know why we do or think some things, but we do. it kind of reminds me about taking someone for granted because it says "if you feel i'm letting go, just give me time,ill come running to your side". you dont exactly know what you want at that time, but once it ends, and you give it a little time, you'll realize what you really want and run back to them. love can be hard sometimes, and being human is our excuse. because "all these ups and downs trip up our good intentions". we mean well, but we get off track sometimes and make mistakes. this song also portrays just a rough spot in a relationship. either he is trying to explain himself to his love or is simply trying to explain that this is what happens with every relationship, because we're all human. they used to see things through eachothers eyes and now its tough and maybe stressful and all they see is "ruin and devastation". anyways! just putting some things in perspective i know sometimes i dont understand some songs at all |
