| I dig this song real hard- Still have yet to decipher what it really means, but despite what some people have been saying, i think this is a good direction for tps. It's got more 'OOMPH' and power. And it's almost like they've become frustrated being mellow, and now it's time for so balls. so to speak. hmm. | |

Well that's def the silliest, but still valid, connection. This song was the first radiohead song that clicked for me as well. At first I thought I had a bad copy (because of the raw sound) But as it were it was just a beautiful extension of the feeling of the song. The texture of the song parallels the lyrics well- this idea of starting with one thing, having it distorted and twisted, then criticized in its new state is the exact same thing as a non-radiohead listener that says this song 'sounds bad.' It's a beautiful melody thats all growly because of the disortion. those are my apples. |
