On the Okonokos live album the lyric is "Stories of the greater years.. Fill your heart and soul with cheer" I would assume that it's the same lyric on other versions, anyways this song and this band are from Heaven! I love the music. |

| This is actually a decent 'pop' song, and I think that despite the archetypal role that pop music plays in our society (mass media, main stream "music", fitting a certain socially accepted image etc.) it is a beautiful song. The video I think, highlights the rites of passage of a girl becoming a woman and facing the life events and changes that are occuring within and around her. She is taking that step towards becoming a woman, and is letting go of her fear. That is what I think the song is about at it's core, letting go of fear. Releasing insecurities and accepting your partner or yourself with unconditional love ready to take on and conquer the challenges with a renewed and refreshed sense of peace and enthusiasm about the mystery that is love. Whew! So, if you wanted a deep thought out meaning, that is mine! | |
