This is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. I cry sometimes when I hear it. The most emotional yet painful line is "I know someday you'll have a beautiful life, I know you'll be a sun In somebody else's sky, but why Why, why can't it be, why can't it be mine" The one the singer loves is capable of giving love and compassion, yet it seems impossible that he/she will ever love the singer. It pains the singer the most that some day that the one he/she loves will fall in love and give everything for someone else's life, rather than the singer's. |
