I think this song is about people needs! It's like... no matter if u were good or bad, u aim at your own happiness at the end! It's like... if u are "bad man", a killer... and u kill people... it's no matter that if u at the end of the life say: "hey... I felt cool when I was killin' people! Now I'm happy cuz of that! I don't regret" To quote Aesop Rock rhymes: "Look, I've never had a dream in my life Because a dream is what you wanna do, but still haven't pursued I knew what I wanted and did it till it was done So i've been the dream that I wanted to be since day one" I think it's all about that... we all aim at the same thing at the end... to be happy...
