| Dizzee Rascal – Stand Up Tall Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"or stretch the arse hole without straining" I always crack up at that part, I mean, where the fuck did that come from? |

| Green Day – Jesus of Suburbia Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| shit, I even started crying once when I was listening to this. This is probably the "another brick in the wall" of the retard generation. | |
| Eminem – Kill You Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| This song is so dark but its a piss take at the same time, it's like "haha, like I give a fuck about some broad". I mean 90% of what you learn about women you learn from your mom, and shit I had a pretty "psychological" relationship at home, and I can Identify with a lot of what this song says. Em might not be a monster, but he aint a gent, he's pretty nasty to be honest, but he's more complicated than just being a monster. He's a mess created by someone else, and he might be a pretty cool guy most of the time but theres always gonna be a scar deep down, a viscous element in his personality that's gonna come out when he's had a few beers and sits down to write his lyrics. What else would you expect? | |
| Eminem – Cleaning Out My Closet Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| The bit about Hailie always gets me, it's like he's bringing her into his own problems, but given all that shit about munchausen syndrome he probably knows better than to do that shit outside of a song. | |
| Eminem – Guilty Conscience Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"You gonna take advice from somebody That slapped DEE BARNES?! Dre: Whatchu say? Em: What's wrong? Didn't think I'd remember? Dre: I'mma kill you, motherfucker! Em: Ah-ah, temper, temper! Mr. Dre? Mr. N.W.A.? Mr. AK comin' straight outta Compton ya'll better make way?! How in the fuck you goin' tell this man not to be violent?" Man that cracks me up. For those who don't know Dr Dre smacked the shit out of Denise Barnes (Dee Barnes). |

| Jack Off Jill – Poor Impulse Control Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| I think this song is pretty simple. It's about poor impulse control, the relationship stuff is just what triggers the song. "one bullet in this gun, not sure if it's for you or me" -just an example that she's about to something major but doesn't really know what. The song has no direction, it never gets to the point and it never follows through. No idea what 750 degrees means though. | |
| The Murderdolls – Love At First Fright Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| who the fuck is captain howdy?? | |
| The Smashing Pumpkins – Bullet with Butterfly Wings Lyrics | 17 years ago |

"despite all my rage i'm still just a rat in a cage" I remember scribbling that on my ceiling before i went chechnya on my bedroom, still havnt got a new chair |

| Basement Jaxx – Where's Your Head At Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| The story is that a friend feels like his life is falling apart, like the walls are closing in on him. Instead of dealing with it, he sits around all day getting high on his own ("where's your head at?";"you turned the world away from you"), and the song is his friends saying that they're there for him, and that they don't want to move on and leave him there ("we can't live on without you"). It's a happy song, and you can really hear the love, but it's still open ended. | |
| L7 – Shove Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| that last verse, wicked | |
| Marilyn Manson – If I Was Your Vampire Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I'm pretty sure the line is "the home is where your heart is" and not "hole", and I think it's a reference to a Charles Manson song. | |
| Oasis – Goodbye Cold World Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This is a cover of goodbye cruel world by pink floyd. | |
| Akala – This Is London Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I'm not how much of the language makes sense outside of the UK (or even london), so here goes: Baller-footballers and sportsmen in general. it also means someone who is "ballin'", doing well in life and on top of the game. Premier league-A football tournament Cris-champagne Tugs-Thugs (pronunciation is londoners from the caribean) Slugs-Bullets Catchin cases-being prosecuted by the police Pikey-an english/irish/scottish mix. supposedly they are unusually strong and make good pikemen, but the current meaning is a white lower class kid, a larger lout chav Little girls getting shot in the back-this is a reference to a black girl getting shot by skinheads a while ago Chrome-gun (obv.) Ian Wright-A professional footballer from way back. He was black and also quite famous Congestion- the congestion charge, you have to pay like £10 to drive in central london because there are too many cars |

| Pink Floyd – Vera Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think this is about the change between WW2 and the cold war, because after WW2, when all the troops were supposed to go back to their homes, Pink's dad was dead, and a lot of troops had to stay in west germany. Now if those troops in west Germany ever did go to war again, we know that there wouldn't be hope for them coming back because they wouldn't have a home to go back to (Nuclear annihilation). So maybe this is pink acknowledging that there isn't anything to hope for, and just wishing there was. |

| Pink Floyd – Have a Cigar Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Just the first line sums up this song for me, I mean the cigar is something out of a business meeting. I can picture the guy offering the cigar, and its one of those massive phallic ones because this guy is the MAN (the establishment). It's like offering the cigar is saying "can we rape you for record sales". | |
| Pink Floyd – Mother Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I was just thinking, in "another brick in the wall" it's about him building this wall to shut out his problems (which I'm assuming includes his mother), but that's exactly what she did so he hasn't truly escaped. He is still doing what his mum wants and not what he wants ("mother do you think") | |
