| oh, more evidence for that last part. when he says "you're still disappointing them," he's probably referring to previous experiences where something similar has happened, meaning he can't change himself. In times of difficulty, some ppl try to solve their problems thru prayer. Anthony, possibly jaded by the whole experience, wants a more tangible solution and further rejects this idea. | |

well, the word "prayer" doesn't really level this off as religious but... "If there are any answers here we haven’t searched for, Just type in your code and say a prayer" i think it has to do with how, as a people, we fail to ask the right questions or when we do ask questions, we fall back onto the mystical as the base for our beliefs. so he asks us how can we be so sure and secure with something we aren't absolutely sure exists or not. On another note, starting with "how could it be, we were so secure..." seems to a bit sexual really. it sounds like he's trying to apologize to someone and/or is in the moment where he is doing something he's ashamed of. |

Two lines are really significant to me: 1. Infinite silence flowing right in with the dawn 2. And we fall asleep again with ties to mend So please let the cleaning begin Infinite silence is essentially sleep or death, where things are peaceful and sound. He probably is hoping for a second chance or some change to take place in himself or whoever he sings to. I do agree that there is a wall separating him from someone else because he seems inpatient and bothered that he can't communicate. It's caused him great uneasy and conflict within himself.
