| Christianity discourages thinking and embraces a dominate-submissive society. To the guy who said God is a communist: Your stupid. | |

Well, the guy's name in all 3 is named Adam (If you look at the Holy wood track listing, the 4 sections spell out Adam) After Adam corrupts Holy Wood, Mechanical Animals starts, and he splits into Alpha (The guy on the songs such as Coma White, Mechanical Animals, The last day on earth, etc.) and Omega (The guy on the cover, his songs are more generic and easier to understand, like New Model No. 15, Dope Show, User Friendly, etc.) After that, I dunno. I don't think the worm represents anything (since at the beginning he talks about failed relationships, the people he hates, etc.) But the Little Horn could represent greed and drugs. BTW, if you get a message from Yuri_Hex, that me. |

Not really Omega, the little horn AKA the Worm AKA the Antichrist Superstar, who eventually splits into Omega and Alpha, the two charectors on Mechanical Animals. The Worm becomes a rockstar, and here he 's praising himself. The worm becomes egotistical, and goes from Anti-god to becoming a new god, which ends in failure. I always thought this song reflected many dictators, Mostly Kim jon-Il and Josef Stalin, as they starved there people for no reason (He will deflower the freshest crop, he is the taker, he is the raper, etc.). Also, Kim Jong-il's brand of Juche Communism revolves around self-reliance, important in the worm and this song. |

Great song, but kind of simple God and world are interchangeable "But I'm not a slave to a world that doesn't exist But I'm not a slave to a God that doesn't give a shit" Frederich Nietzsche (Who inspires lots of Manson's work) once said that people live in a fantasy world ("We have measured the value of the world according to categories that refer to a purely fictitious world”), and that there are no universal truths. The song also could apply to pre-soviet Russia, where the working class were not respected and the upper class didn't care about them, which is probably the reason for the Stalin quote. The song also was probably inspired by the Russian Revolution. |

The song is about how the worm has become everything he hated in the first place. The end has explosions and such which is the Antichrist's Empire falling. People should seriously list to the whole album from the first to last track. Antichrist superstar isn't a bunch of random tracks about Manson, it's a concept album, just like Mechanical Animals or Holy Wood. |
