I agree with that. The amount of contrast between the song titles and song meanings for this band is impressive. |

If you think about it, this song could be about what happens when you waste your time. The people represented in the museum are all dead and gone, and "known for the lack of words" that they speak. "Now he is one, now she is one, now they are one" could be those people who die and are put in the red museum. The glass eyes and wooden teeth only falsely represent them as they were when they were alive, and they are forever locked in by the walls with "iron will" and "a sense of reach". The old adage, "Red skies at morning, sailors take warning" is also in this song, a warning of the limited time you have. Take advantage of time while you still have it, cause you can't stop it from moving on without you. |

| Idiot Pilot – Strange We Should Meet Here Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
This feels like a song about a rocky relationship between two people who have been hiding things from each other. Maybe just now finding some things out. "(Come on, I could be anyone)" "(You've become someone else)" "You remind me of someone I used to know" etc. Both of these lines could imply that these two people (in this 'marriage so divine') don't really know anything about each other. Also, "And now that we've died" Does this hint at a breakup? |

i agree with the above; especially after reading "All Quiet on the Western Front" it makes alot of sense. for me, it's hard to remove the imagery of disillusioned soldiers who question whether they can still find themselves again after the horror of war and all that they've seen. "If only I could see you return myself to me And recognize the poison in my heart" this song could really apply to many wars that've happened in the last five decades, but WWI or the current one really springs to my mind. |
