Lily Allen – He Wasn't There Lyrics 16 years ago
It's definietely sarcastic. When I first heard it I thought it sounded so different to her other stuff, as she doesn't usually plug forgiving people who have let her down. But she's being ironic, it makes way more sense.

Atreyu – Doomsday Lyrics 18 years ago
I Love Atreyu, compltetly and forever. And I'm just going to tuck this album in the back of my closet and forget it ever came out.

It's true that every abum has gotten gradually softer, but it still had the basic Atreyu-esque depth, emotion and sound. LSPA is simply not them.

Don't get me wrong, if this was an entirely new band I'd be marginally impressed. For a band with a different sound, it'd be a decent album. But as a true Atreyu fan I'm just flat-out disappointed.

The Best Of was Victory's last-ditch attempt to make some money out of the band before they switched labels. All the albums that came out of that label were amazing, breathtaking. Which makes me think that pressure from the new label and a desire for tv/radio play is what has led to LSPA.

I'm sure many Atreyu fans are as nuts about this album as it seems many of us were about the others, and that's fine. Just don't make me have to listen to it.

Atreyu – Deanne the Arsonist Lyrics 18 years ago
This song at once struck me as about a girl (Deanne) being so caught up in her own shit that she made his life a misery. She hated herself: "Everyone cared about you/Why couldn't you?" And she was "Wallowing in her blissful melancholy" So instead she took all his happiness and hope simply because she had none herself. It was like he tried to help her at first, and she just "stole other silver linings".
