| It's obviously about modelling. Helen Marnie used to be a model - wouldn't be surprised if she'd specifically written this (and learnt the hard way)... | |
| Panic! at the Disco – The Ballad of Mona Lisa Lyrics | 14 years ago |
| Idk. I was just singing along one time and it randomly occurred to me that it sounded a bit like "Hit Me Baby One More Time" (or at least, that line did). Probably just a coincidence, though... | |

"Give me a sign/ I want to believe" Anyone else think that's a Britney Spears reference? |

I remember someone once claiming that Halitosis was an illness effectively made up by Listerine's advertising campaigns way back when. If you think about, simply brushing one's teeth ought to be enough. Perhaps it isn't so necessary after all. Maybe we should all just get off our computers and form proper relationships? (Not that that's gonna happen of course, I'm just saying...) |

| Cansei de Ser Sexy – Meeting Paris Hilton Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| Maybe it's about meeting Paris Hilton, pretending to like her handbag dog and then screwing her in one of her dad's hotels...? | |
| Interpol – No I in Threesome Lyrics | 16 years ago |

At first I thought it was about a threesome... Then I really thought about the references to time. It sounds like it's about having a kid - like they're not getting any younger and as immortality isn't an option, they might as well reproduce before they die. I think I preferred it when it was about a threesome, lol! |

| I Set My Friends On Fire – Reese's Pieces, I Don't Know Who John Cleese Is? Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I thought that was about him beating the guy with the bat ("we smaking flesh"...him and his bat)and then forcing the girl to watch... Which is just odd - why wouldn't she care? |

| White Rose Movement – Alsation Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I figure the song's about being unique, the fear and many people's want to be unique. There's also the "pushing my pram" line which sort of makes me think it's about doing something (like getting pregnant outside of wedlock) that makes others look down on you and then getting so sick and tired of it that you feel like parading what made you hated in the first place. As for the dog mentioned...I dunno, could be about getting overexcited or something, due to fear perhaps? |
