Actually, the song is about living in an extremely violent neighborhood. Murders across the street, fugitives hiding in the backyard, animals left to die on ropes 5 feet away from where you children play, illegal immigrants that bully neighbors with firearms, loud music, and the knowledge that police won't do a thing to correct the situation. This song is not about any band members or band situations. it's about selling a house and getting your family in a better situation. hence the $46,000 escape, what the house sold for. |
