not sure if this opinion has been posted already, but i wasn't about to read through the 6 pages of what are i'm sure mostly idiotic posts. the song is about how stupid people are better off because they go through life without really knowing whats going on around them, and are therefore less influenced by the majority of society and seem happier. they rarely think ahead and when they do it's fairly black-and-white for them. a good example of this is would be those who think this is a song about drugs. yes, kurt was a junkie. everyone knows that. yes, his drug of choice was heroin. yes, he started with something, marijuana, when he was 11. but just because he did drugs doesn't mean every song he writes is about them. open your mind, get a fucking clue. |
