someone previously said that comparing bellyaches could have been issac's way of basically saying that no one else's problems could compare to his as a child. that's not what i got from that at all. i think its is referring people's inclination to complain about their problems, as a sort of struggle to win over the most sympathy..as people try to establish themselves as the person who has struggled the most. or it could be how people become so wrapped up in their issues they allow whatever it is to define them, as they wallow. that's just how i feel about that one line, though. |
