Okay, so to those who think that the line "can your god save you now?" is anti religious...pull your head out of your ass. They say "your god" as in something that the person he speaking about holds in high reguards. And the reason mitch says it in a condesending manner is because this person that the song is about has always been rescued by their "god" and is now in a situation where their "god" cant help them. That is my idea. I love this band so much, serisously...oh yeah, and you will hear them use lyrics that sound anti religious, but in reality he is most likely talking about something that just a large part of a problem that is supposedly a good thing...i dont know, i cant explain things that well. |
