I agree with AngelsSorrow. This song speaks about the corruption and the grief we bring to each other, trying to emphasize that we are the ones that cause it. Khandi said "be the change you want to see in the world" yet for some reason these words come short when we evaluate what WE as a person want to be and not as humans want to achieve. The video of the song is also informative about its concept. In the end, the "wanderer"(?) saves a boy from being killed, giving the meaning that all the hope for a better tomorrow is at the hands of the children. As always. WT kicks ass, Sharon kicks MAJOR ASS and this goes straight to my cellphone as a ringtone. :) |

Everything for free = dreams. Obviously the clip shows a mental institution but, it also implies that "they think I'm crazy". So, it can also take the approach that it's about a person that strived for something that made other people think he's insane (perhaps a far away dream?). "It's my birthday, you're invited to my party down the hall." I don't think that they picked the term birthday by chance. A birthday party is the celebration of the day you came to life. Maybe it implies a "starting again"? I like it anyway :D |

This song is about a guy that fell in love with a girl. After some bad things that happened between her and him, he is forced to forget and carry on. "Passers by were looking at me as if they could erase it". It seems like everyone is looking at him like he is some kind of freak or psycho, just because he is in love with her. "How it mattered to us, how it mattered to me". These 2 definitions are different, that's because he is separating them. There is a huge difference between how their whole "relationship" mattered for him. "I was alone, falling free Trying my best not to forget What happened to us, what happened to me What happened as I let it slip" He feels like the whole fault about this end is his own, because he let it slip. Of course that's HIS point of view. "Baby, did you forget to take your meds" is the typical comment of people that pass judgement onto him, implying that his behavior is lunatic. |

I think that "the boy" is indeed the voice in her head that got evoked when they came for her, thus the line "I hear footsteps" in the beginning says. Also "happy birthday" refers to the birth of her psycho self that suddenly snapped out talking to her in the beginning of the song. |

I love this song. It just makes me wanna scream the lyrics out loud. I think it's talking about someone that tried to correct his flaws, only to find that his words are hitting just a wall. Instead , they named the song "lying from you" and they say the exact opposite things that the other half will want to listen. "The very worst part of you is me" kind of confuses me.
