No. This song isn't about god, or any of that. Trent used to be severely depressed, and this is obviously what this song is about. "something i can never have", he can never be happy, and he felt happy with this person it's written out to. They took his pain away. And that person is always happy, but they're not the main focus in his life anymore, and he was happy until he grew depressed. Hence "you're just a fading fucking reminder of who I used to be". Eh, I guess it could be about god, but Trent is also Jewish. Jew's follow Jesus, and only Jesus. I think it's more based about being depressed. |

Like, he beats himself up, and there was a time when he was thinking about me and him, and he's always be like "im worthless to you, I'll just end up hurting you in the end" And it just reminds me of him. I think it's Brody having relationship problems. I.E. "Take your time, c'mon get. what you come for Don't waste my time, c'mon get what you come for..." I sounds like, to me, that she's in a relationship, and it's just kinda falling apart, and she just kinda has this "fuck it" attitude. It's hard for me to explain.
