hmm i disagree with u all about this arguably being the worst song on badmotorfinger...the lyrics could be better but the vocals, guitar, bass, drums...its all there and I find it very catchy. I'd put it at 5th favorite on the album behind Outshined, Rusty Cage, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, and Slaves and Bulldozers. |

Best punk song of all time. This is my theme song! Its about not conforming obviously as many people have said. I love this cause I can relate because I don't just hang out with 1 group of people...I have friends that r nerds emos rockers preps and just plain out assholes. Of course this is really hard cause the rockers and emos kinda hate the preps but whatever. Great song and I think none of you really understand how selling out works. I think they sold out just not for the same reasons or at the same time. They sold out when they released Spliner and then even more with Rise and Fall Rage and Grace. Also people r saying that indie vs major record label seems to have everything to do with selling out. It has a little bit to do with it but not much...I mean look at Jimi Hendrix he was on a major record label his whole career, are you saying he sold out? Anyway what makes you a band that sells out is merely making music that pleases the general public. Making music that you make for yourself is not selling out(this is because you are only making it for you and not for fans or the money that comes with fans). I hope this makes sense. |
