I think this song is about getting married, or deciding to. "all our friends would say that maybe we should wait but they can't see what's coming" It's about how perfect they are for each other how they're always there for each other and stuff, basically a love song, but I think the first verse gives it more of a story/meaning. |

Well regardless of how the song sounds, I think the meaning is something along the lines of accidental pregnancy. You name your child After your fear And tell them, "I have brought you here." The pleasure part The after shock The moment that It takes the fall apart Even the verse: You drop a coin Into the sea And shout out, "Please come back to me!" Can refer to sperm (coin) swimming along and meeting an egg in the "sea" and wishing it'd come back and had never done that 'cause now there's a baby growin'. |
