The Outline – Why We're Better Now Lyrics | 16 years ago |
I feel like the guy is mad at a girl for ending a relationship out of something along the lines of apathy or a new, sad philosophy of life. Perhaps, she is thinking too hard "if we don't stare, then its not there" I can't place what she is thinking but he sees her logical flaws when he says "we'd be the prey" |
Buckcherry – Next to you Lyrics | 16 years ago |
as Lainy Bainy said, its about this girl this guy is trying to tap. Whether she really is a tease or not, she is known for not having sex with guys. This guy, however, still is trying to butter her up and hang out with her in hopes she'll sleep with him. good song. |
Seether – Fake It Lyrics | 16 years ago |
this song is a rant against people who didn't fit in and decided to fake things to be popular instead of making it their own way. "good god, you're coming up with reasons" makes me think the singer says something and the person just justifies w/e lie they just said. pretty straightforward as usual for Seether. |
SR-71 – She Was Dead Lyrics | 17 years ago |
self-explanatory: the guy liked the girl for her looks and didn't realize how bad a match and how high-maintenance the girl is. Now, he's annoyed with her as she nags more. He wants to hurt her back. |
SR-71 – In My Mind Lyrics | 17 years ago |
It's about the death of someone close to him. Look at the last two lines "a life you're used to cheating has finally caught on". I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH. |
The Cardigans – You're The Storm Lyrics | 17 years ago |
The war words are just diction- she is choosing them to set up and support her metaphor which is what everyone has been saying love/sex. I think its both love and sex. She recognizes she loves him and he is good for her. Now, she wants to challenge him to make her seize her and take things to a new level. I think it doubles to challenge him to not only have sex with her but to want her all to himself all the time. Oh yeah. I love this song. |
