I'm a little sad that not many people have commented on this song. It's so heartrending. I have been in the same situation a few times myself. Anyway, I think JossMoss and LaurenLush said it already, but it's about falling in love with someone who is confused, and refuses to admit their sexuality. I don't think it's about just simply liking someone who actually is straight, because he says, "He wants to kiss and go to bed but he doesn't want to talk." So Jesse is obviously into him physically, but I think he's saying that Jesse refuses to date him or acknowledge their relationship as anything more than physical. I'm not sure about the part with Danny. It could be [like LaurenLush said] that he got over Jesse and started liking Danny, but ended up in the same situation. I don't really have a better explanation. |
