Ok, I dont normally hop in and comment on song interruption, however since this is an active thread and I've notice the same (this is not meant to be a flam) idiotic interpretation on other forums outlining and connecting AWOLNATION's 'Sail' to the "illuminati" or alcohol-drug dependency. I'm going to put these two theories to rest once and for all, without injecting too much of my own POV into this! 1st: -kwakadileon- The 'Illuminati' thing is just f'ing stupid, just because there are pyramids and celestial drawing in the video does not connect the song/band to the Illuminati. Heck why not take it to the next level; the video clearly explains that there is also a UFO element, so 'Oh No ' it's the Church of the Subgenius "Praise Bob!" 2nd: The "Blame it on my ADD" line is a reference to Aaron Bruno being diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder as a child; in an interview & live performance on JBTV (www.jbtvonline (.) com/interviews/awolnation-sail) he discusses this with host Ryan Manno 3rd: -SGN432- Using Urban Dictionary to reference drug slang -classic... The term "Sail" is nothing a "head" (a smoker of marijuana) would say in reference to passing a joint. To be frank about it, that would probably get the person labeled as NARC (n. Short for a Narcotics officer). 4th: (Personal POV) Sorry to be blunt about my comments, but coming from a background of being diagnosed w/ ADD as a child and then later in life having 2 separate severe TBI's, diagnosed w/ PTSD, Complex Partial Seizure Disorder, ADHD & 3 different cognitive disorders. I've seen and been through the battery of psych docs (neurologists, neuro-psychologists, psychologists & psychiatrists) and seeing how the medical and educational systems react to highly intelligent & functioning patients (child or adults) that have attention, cognitive/expressive disorders or god forbid would rather draw, daydream, or just tune people out to focus on what seems more relevant at the time..... Most of the time you just go with the status quo (Sail), trying not to make waves since the neuro-psych world is down to 15 minute session per the insurance companies, long enough to write a script and make sure your not suicidal.
