I cannot believe nobody's commented on damn-near any of Chris's songs. They're so honest and beautiful. A great singer/songwriter, he is. If only he'd leave California more often. |

This song was about Gabriel's experience at the Rothko Chapel in Houston, TX.
That place is horribly dull and lifeless though, so I'm really not sure where he pulled inspiration from. |

I love this song. The message is obvious, but then so are most of RBF's lyrics. Scott does an awesome job in this song as well. |

Much the same with the other songs of this album, this song truly gives a great idea of Scott's vocal talents.
My take on the song is it's about a rock star ("...he's gonna rock their asses down to the floor"), possibly Scott himself, and the feeling of accomplishment and happiness he has at making it ("...this is only gonna get better ...Victory never tasted so sweet"). He's so amazed that he can't even believe it's him. |

this song is on the album "New.Old.Rare" along with the songs "Fracture" and "Unnatural" also by Recover. Though this song wasn't my first, it's def. my favorite. |
