| holy shit...i just listened to this whole album straight through and its possibly one of the greatest albums of metal history. i never would have listened to this band if another one of my favorites (august burns red, check them out) wasnt on tour with them. this is a very different sounding btbam than on alaska, which i bought after hearing this one. colors has many more progressive and less death metal elements. this song sums up all shit in the music industry. people out there to sell out and make money arent as fulfilled as those who make music for the love of it. i love how all the songs flow together- it would be better if the last chord of this song was the first one in foam born, but i can live with that | |

| alright...lets get something straight. you are not a loyal fan if you allow a band you like sell out and try to sugar coat it saying how "theyre experimenting and trying new sound" cause thats obviosly not true. the lyrics on this are shallow, everyone can relate to turning into a bull and shit like that. atreyu;s old stuff was good because it showed alex's darker sides, the side he's now hiding to make more money. and i dont think i can ever get sick of a good band, i could listen to suicide notes for along time. example::: as ilay dying's new cd has sreaming, different choruses, beter guitar parts, but its still the same basic song writing, just allittle cleaner and more mature. atreyu's new songs are completly different, i bet more than half the people posting stuff on here cant name 5 tracks off of snabk...shameful | |

this songs pretty good. if you cant guiess the meaning than your kinda retarded...sorry but its true. its just like all the rest of the songs on this cd. the opposite of suicide notes... i like the guitar parts on this they are cool... kinda hair metally though...cant imagine a mosh pit to this... |

id just like to throw this out there... the reason that i(and probably alot of other people) dont like this album isnt because they stopped screaming and "matured" as a band. it because of the way that alex now sings- he sounds like every other mod-rock singer on the radio. you can stop screaming and still mature as a band, look at trivium and a7x(trivium easily being one of the best thrash metal band of all time) they have relativly no screaming in their new albums, but their stuff is still headbangable and trivium still has monster pits. atreyu now is just your everyday mod-rock radio band with 2 good guitarist who actually know what they are doing, unlike most radio music. in my opinion a band sells out when all 3 of these following tasks are done 1. They leave their origional sound and reject it(not play old songs at concerts) 2. the new sound is more socially accepted, and has a larger potential fan base (snabk only had about 100000 sold) 3.the majority of the old fans wouldnt attend the said bands concert. I feel as if atreyu has done 2,3, and half of 1. They only played lip gloss and black from sucicide notes, and only rht side of the bed from curse on family values tour. I bet that in 5 years the majority of atreyu fans will be like "ohhh i heard some wierd make-up song by atreyu and it was likee soooo scary...omg... " (that fits the description of multiple atreyu songs) I hope this never happens, but it is probably inevitable. also, atreyu's songs used to be extremmly deep and probably help alot of people through tough times, where as now there songs are about animals you can find in a zoo. so, i hope now you guys know where us LSPA dislikers are comin from. feel free to reply to this with immature comments such as " ur not a true fan" "go fuck yourself" and other stuff like that, but know that it make you look bad and doesnt actually deny anything that i say here. that being said i would choose the new "atreyu" over most mod-rock bands out there. and please dont say anything about how i hate this song because it is the best one on the album. |

| yeahhh... the new cd is gonna friggin suck.... i saw atreyu at family values recently and basically the guitar parts are good and catchy but then alex does his little "look at me i can talk into the microphone" and the drummer dude has like half the vocal times. it was funny when he said he wanted a circle pit and there were 5 people in it.... plus they only play lip gloss and black from sucide notes, which is by far there best cd. for the person 2 above, ill admit that the guitarist are much improved from drop c::: dum dum dum dum to actrullay having good solos in the new songs, but the singing just like every other lameo band today... and their shirts are pretty stupid now too | |

first id like to say that atreyu is one of my favorite bands and that i love thier 1st 3 albums. 2nd- im looking foward to the new cd, but not if its all like this... this sounds like every other crappy band on the radio. does alex even sing in song? im not goin to commit to anything before i hear the whole cd, but from wat it seems atreyu has sold out... and noone say how they are "trying to find a better style" or crap like that cause theres a difference between softening up alittle bit but still having quality songs (death-grip/exs+ohs) and completly selling out.... by the way::: atreyu's new cd is being produced by the same guy who does ashley simpson and hilary duffs "cds" and they are singed by a company owned by disney. thats all |
