I've been listening to Green Day since I was in elementary school in 1993 and heard Kerplunk and honestly... they could have really stopped after Warning, maybe even after Shenanigans. American Idiot had two good songs (Letterbomb and Whatsername) and this new album had only a couple songs worth putting on an album. Know your enemy? I know the enemy... the record companies and the people who told Green Day to put out this kind of garbage. You have to know when to stop and for Green Day, the time is now. I hate seeing bands not know when their time is up and they put out crap like this to please the masses...
TL;DR - This song sucks and Green Day should take a page out of KISS's book: do a last ever concert every once and a while and quit with the new material. |

It almost sounds as if he says "So clouds the night he tries to steer" but honestly who knows it's hard to decipher by ear. It's a great song by a great artist and person. I met him once he's an awesome guy. |

8 of the songs from the new album have leaked. Definitely a lot better than Make Believe you can listen to them and not throw up, unlike when listening to Make Believe. |

It's pretty obvious that bing_redboy posted the correct lyrics not erikj. Maybe erikj hasn't even listened to the song. At least it's not like the last sneak peak, Beverly Hills. Hopefully the Red Album is better than Make Believe. |

Of course this song is amazing. I used to listen to it on this CD Fast Food You'll Never Eat Again or something like that it was from Drive-Thru Records. I loved this band too bad they aren't together anymore they were better than a lot of the bands in their genre... |
