Cage the Elephant – In One Ear Lyrics 15 years ago
- I ain't tryin to hide my flaws, I try to keep them in the light

I think it's "I'd rather keep them in the light" than try to keep them.

In any case, this song is so solid. I agree with whoever said Sound > Lyrics.

The Rocket Summer – Tara, I'm Terrible Lyrics 15 years ago
Tara's his wife, and I find that incredibly sweet that he would write this for her. :]

Daniel Johnston – I Live My Broken Dreams Lyrics 16 years ago
"The wildest summer that I ever knew
I had a flat tire down memory lane"

One of my favorite lines in music, hands down.

They played this when I went to their show on my birthday.

One of the most liberating experiences of my life.

Panic! at the Disco – Folkin' Around Lyrics 17 years ago
I think happyxthoughts has this one right.

It sounds very reminiscent, yet very resentful at parts (find your own way back home).

I'm not so sure I like the country sound... but it just works for this song. And I love the song, so I guess I can deal with it.

And xxlindsaydarexx, don't worry. The pun never gets old. ;D

Panic! at the Disco – She's a Handsome Woman Lyrics 17 years ago
I love how this song sounds incredibly spiteful. It sounds like Ryan's saying, "This is a bad idea, whatever you want to do, but it'll be a great 'I told you so' moment later."

It definitely sounds like this is aimed at the media, but at the same time, it sounds kind of like I said before. A personal thing.

It's great. I love this song.

Panic! at the Disco – From A Mountain In The Middle Of The Cabins Lyrics 17 years ago
Browns0286 is pretty right, too.

Anyone catch the reference to When The Day Met The Night?

Browns0286 said something about how the summer represented the innocence of their love during the summer, and fall is about the reality setting in. I think that's right, because in When The Day Met The Night, the line is "In the middle of summer, all was golden in the sky".

Panic! at the Disco – From A Mountain In The Middle Of The Cabins Lyrics 17 years ago
Great song... it sounds so... pleasant, yet sadistic.

I think PrettyOdd87 hit this one right on the nail.
Good job. :]

And, Mack The Spoon, if you want, I can email you the song file.

The Academy Is... – 40 Steps Lyrics 18 years ago
This song means so much to me, I can't even relate it to a webpage comment. I told Will about it when I got backstage at the last concert I went to... it was so bittersweet. =]

But anyways, I digress. Awesome song. It definitely has a great meaning to it.

Between the Trees – The Way She Feels Lyrics 18 years ago
This song takes me back... meggeroni is right about the whole emo assumption thing.

To Write Love On Her Arms saved me. I pray that this song reaches at least someone who needs it.

Finger Eleven – Paralyzer Lyrics 18 years ago
I think it's hilarious that everyone's describing this song as sexy... that's just funny. But I agree for the most part with these comments. Lyrics could be way better, catchy guitar riffs, good beat. Song is over all okay... love the club scene.

Panic! at the Disco – This Is Halloween Lyrics 18 years ago
i think all P!ATD fans can be proud of this cover... excellent job done on it. i love the darkness to Brendon's voice when he sings it. totally changes it up, but in a good kind of way.

Panic! at the Disco – Tonight, Tonight (Smashing Pumpkins cover) Lyrics 18 years ago
This song has always held a special meaning to me... Panic! really did do an amazing job with it. Billy Corgan said himself that he liked the cover version of the song. I love how Brendon's voice brings that little something extra to it... it just makes the song all the more important to me.
