I think he is simply talking about a party with a bunch of scene kids. He is observing this one girl judging her and her friends finding them unoriginal, but saying to himself that he has no room to speak. He ends up going home with one of the girls at the party and sleeps with her, but it reminds him why he doesn't randomly hook up anymore. He's getting too old to be doing that kind of thing anymore...I think the artist is relating to a real story that may have many times with all the same scene kids so apparent at his concerts and groups. Good song for us hitting that 26 27 age where we can't quite fit into the younger or older groups anymore |
