| This song is a beautiful representation of one person's struggle with losing someone. It describes the need to find peace with death and therefore view it as something better, more desirable than life. This is a positive way of looking at it, but it is also just a way to comfort oneself after a loved one dies...and it doesn't take away any of the other strange, new emotions that come along with grieving. That is shown in, what I think is one of the best lines: "I always figured there'd be time enough I never let it get me down But I can't help it now." This so clearly demonstrates the mind workings of this person who used to think one way but now will never think the same about life again. Ever. | |
