thehiway2neverwhere has this, 100% (In my mind) correct. This is all about Claudio writing back to Newo, but, Al the Killer died in "A Favor House Atlantic" - In reference - "Bye Bye Beautiful" is Ambelina talking about Al. Al takes his ship and covers Claudio and Ambelina as they move towards A Favor House, and he eventually crashes into A Favor House Atlantic (Notice the album cover of NWFT), so, I don't think there was ever a "fling" between Newo and Al. Al was a rapist and a psychopath.
