not much to add to this, think jballer n black cow pretty much nailed it. there is also the small hint of nukes "make believe that you are still in charge", man controls man, but nature is ruling, mother earth fighting back through global warming. and governments are starting to notice, trying to turn back the clock on the environment with climate change bills that are too little too late, and throwing coins making wishes, coz its too little too late. good accoustic version too....... |

RE 2quick2silver:- i might b wrong, but they are seen as over rated. and not seen as having "the edge" that bands such as the arctic monkeys and the likes of the same era have. i think they are a great band, and have the basic talent alot of these so called "better" british bands are lacking. as long as they dont fall into the industries "we must have 3 albums all the same before we cast you into the shadows" trap, i think the potential is there for much greater things. blushes all round for those that slated a certain pablo honey......... as for the meaning, as so many songs its down to the artists interpretation, while the rest of us call on our own experience to add meaning, thus is life. maybe she cheated, maybe she didnt. sound like she hurt him when it WAS her fault,(hence shes naive, it wasnt for the purpose of causing him pain, she wasnt thinking, didnt think he'd be feeling the way he did) and tried blaming him. i might be totaly wrong on every front, who knows. and i really like the live lounge accoustic version they did. |
