To me this song is about walking away and turning your back on something that made you happy (the sun) "Walk away from the sun and tell everyone" This is telling everybody that knows about that one thing that makes you happy. "Walk away from the sun and kill everyone" This has you killing everybody (emotionally) because they can't stand to see you just walk away. "Fading with every day" This is about you and everybody else being affected by the decision that you've made. |

Well at the moment I feel like I can really relate to this song so I'll offer a meanng. It's about a man who's lost all hope with fighting a battle for something he's believed in for so long and feeling like he's not getting any help anymore from the people he's been with for so long. "I can't relate to you" Simply means he doesn't know this people anymore and can't believe they'd give up so easily. "He was the kind of guy who'd always go right out of his way, But more before that crazy notion leapt right into his head, And stubbornly crept into every mad perception" This is about him being the only one taking the time to continue the battle and starting to believe that whatever he does will not further the cause. "So soon we all forget - we ever met, This involves the group slowly seperating from each other and forgetting eafh other's names. "Do you know my name - sing a light refrain, for a man estranged" This has the group mourning the loss of the member who don't even know his name anymore. Just remember that he's still alive physically, but broken in spirit. "I won't deny that I'm inclined to isolate" This is finally the man saying he's had enough and he feels like he wants to leave the group. |
