Streetlight Manifesto – Supernothing Lyrics 18 years ago
Gimps only album is available for download here: http://risc.perix.co.uk/downloads/music/

Since it's not in print anymore and it's been, I believe 20 years, it's legal to download.

Gimp – Humming On Tables Lyrics 18 years ago
I think that the line with the ? is actually "Every time I breath, she jumps up someone's ass" like the person is a controlling freak.

Gimp – The Only Other Way Lyrics 18 years ago
I think that this song tells the story of a band that makes it big in six months, however, instead of taking the whole band they want only one member. The band doesn't understand why he would do this, a common issue that happens to bands pointed out by the "What they don't understand..." lines. They don't get that this is the only other way for him to advance in life instead of being a loser. A lot of people probably think, jee, that's pretty shitty giving up your band, but how would you feel if you were in the middle of Bumfuck, Nowhere and you got offered a huge deal? That's right you'd probably take, and in the end it's the best decision for you even if nobody else can understand.

I laughed when I watched The Hills Have Eyes too. But it was probably because of the crappy movie.

Personally, I don't see why people are arguing about which version is better. Catch-22 is obviously supposed to have a garage feel too it while SLM's recordings of everything are cleaner. The bands may have the same singer, but that doesn't mean they're going to be the same style.

Me First and the Gimme Gimmes – Stairway To Heaven Lyrics 18 years ago
Yea, that's the only reason I don't like the original. It takes far too long to listen too and feels like it drags.

Damn Mad Jeddai, you have good ears to hear that. I can only catch the very end when he says "you might get dropped". Good catch.

Kid Rock – Cowboy Lyrics 18 years ago
Man, I like this song. I find it quite catchy. Also, Kid Rock isn't really a singer, he's a rapper. Rappers and singers are totally different, and singers who write their own shit are even more talented than rappers.

Kid Rock – Bawitdaba Lyrics 18 years ago
Actually, I don't think it's a "shout-out" to DB Cooper. He says, "Every DB Cooper and the money he took". I believe he means all the crooked IRS agents and things that acted like DB Cooper, meaning the stole money and they got away with it.
